Young Professionals Make-York
York Professionals has launched a group to promote the benefits of living and working in the city to young professionals. Make-York aims to give the city’s young professionals a voice and a platform for connecting with one another. The group will also hold social and business events. Chris Chittock, chairman, said: "York is brimming with talented professionals across a broad range of sectors. Make-York is designed to bring those people together to promote and enhance all that York has to offer."

A specialist Yorkshire drinks company is experiencing an increase in sales of 26% and interest from major retailers thanks to an innovative rebranding exercise recently carried out by a young York-based design agency, York Professionals member, United by Design. read more 27.07.09
£1.3M Bid Receives Green Light
Science City York has been successful in its application through Yorkshire Forward to secure £1.3M investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme in Yorkshire and Humber, funding a brand new three year programme of intensive assistance for knowledge-based SMEs. Hat trick of new client wins for Partners Group
York-based PR and design agency The Partners Group has won a hat trick of new clients.
The company is working with TV presenter, author and hill-walker Mark Reid to promote his teambuilding business TeamWalking, based in the Yorkshire Dales. Partners has recently helped to launch IQ Wealth Creation, a new wealth management business formed by ex-professional footballer Greg Thomson. While the firm’s work with Harrogate-based JM Supplies has already generated a record number of new customers for its recession busting Roving Rack cabinet for audio visual equipment.
