York Business Forum
York Business Forum was formed in October 2008 by the City of York Council as a result of the recommendations of the Future York Report, which stated:
- the City Council should work closely with key business sectors to better understand their needs, and to create appropriate conditions both for continuing success within the City and to foster future growth opportunities
- the City Council must provide a supportive business environment
Although the forum is a council initiative, it is private sector lead, chaired by Adam Sinclair, MD of Mulberry Hall. Meetings are free to attend and open to all business leaders in the city, by registering interest with Jo Pickering (admin@york-professionals.co.uk).
