You may have heard that LinkedIn has 433 million users, 40% of whom check the platform every day. Those numbers are certainly substantial, but they aren’t the statistics that really matter for a business-oriented network like LinkedIn. What really matters is that one in three professionals in the world has a LinkedIn account, and 49% of key decision makers use LinkedIn for business purposes. With that level of professional engagement, LinkedIn is a social network your business cannot afford to ignore.

Steve Phillip is Managing Director of Linked2Success - since 2009, he has worked with sales and business development directors and business owners, throughout the UK and overseas, helping them embrace LinkedIn and social selling to engage with the right stakeholders in the companies they want to do business with.

From his experience of working with companies such as FedEx, Harley Davidson, AXA PPP (SecureHealth), Toyota GB, The British Red Cross, Deloitte and other significant brands, Steve will share with you what it really takes to make platforms such as LinkedIn work so that you can locate, connect and engage with more of the right clients and other relevant business professionals.

To further complement Steve's speech we are delighted to be welcoming Simon Bourne from Hand Dyed Shoe Co who will bring the practicalities of LinkedIn to life as he talks about how he has made his handmade gentlemans shoe business a success through use of this social media platform. 

Refreshments will be served on arrival and the evening will conclude with a light supper and glass of wine.

York Professionals events are for members only. However if you are interested in joining in membership in the very near future then you are welcome to attend an event first at the special 'Introductory Members' rate.

Event Cancellation and Refund Policy. 

Cancellations must be advised in writing / email at least 7 working days prior to the activity date. A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend an event or cancels within 7 working days prior to the activity.
